Tudors snap up Royals starlet Hyam on loan

Hemel Hempstead Town have signed Reading U21 defender Dominic Hyam on an initial one month’s loan.

Hyam is a cultured centre-back who joined Reading in 2008 and made his first start for the U18s in the last match of the 2011/12 season against Birmingham.

The 19-year-old has been with the Royals since the age of 12, and he revealed on Twitter that he is looking forward to his stint at Vauxhall Road.

He said: “Happy to sign a short term loan to Hemel FC, will be a good experience!”

The club added: “We would like to welcome Dominic to the club and wish him every success in his spell at Vauxhall Road.”
