The Tudors have met Nuneaton twice in their history – both league games in the Southern Premier Division in 2009/10. In both games Nuneaton ran out 3-1 winners.

There are a few places left for supporter’s club members on the coach that was originally travelling to Bath City and will now divert to Nuneaton. The cost is £10 for adults and £5 for U18s. Contact [email protected] for more details.

Meanwhile, last season’s top scorer Ben Mackey has gone on a 28-day loan to Dunstable Town, with 18-year-old forward Jemale McKenzie-Lowe joining Hemel on a similar length deal.

Tudors manager Dean Brennan said about the deal: “Ben is a fantastic servant to this club, but for the next month he’s going to get himself some games and some goals at Dunstable Town.

“In return we’re taking Jemale McKenzie-Lowe on loan from Dunstable; he’s a 6ft 2ins striker who will give us a different dimension to our attacking options.

“It’s a tough decision to let a key player like Ben go out on loan, but it has been a frustrating season for him so far; we know he’s a goal scorer, after all his goals helped us to win the league championship last season.”

A club spokesman added: “The club wish Ben all the best in his time with Dunstable.”
