Tudors bolster squad as former Wimbledon midfielder heads to Vauxhall Road

Wellard left National League side Welling United earlier this month after a mutual agreement to terminate his contract early.

Wellard signed for Welling at the start of the season, scoring three goals in 34 games, having joined from National League South side Sutton United.

The 27-year-old was also part of the AFC Wimbledon team that won promotion to the Football League and has previously had stints at Cambridge United and Ashford Town.

Wellard could be in contention to make his Tudors debut at home to Truro City this afternoon.
