Tring Corinthians registered a 3-0 win at Wolverton Town and are slowly moving up the table.

Corries got off to a fine start as Andy Humphreys was set free down the right and reached the bye line before crossing to Aaron West. Although not known for his prolific goal scoring , West buried the ball with aplomb.

The rest of the half was not one for the purists, but Tring started the second half on fire. Luke Byrne threaded the ball to Humphreys who rounded the keeper to score his fourth goal in as many games.

Corries rode their luck at times – with the woodwork denying Wolverton twice – but goalie Dave Adamson was in fine form and Rob Lear was a colossus at centre-half.

With five minutes left, Andy Wheeler King sealed the victory with a fine finish for 3-0.
