West Herts Senior Cup - Pool B
Kings Sports hosted Potten End under lights and knew that to qualify as best 2nd place in the Pools, they had to win by 6 clear goals! The game was even to start with but Kings began to apply more pressure and should have been a few goals up by the break but could only score once, including a missed a penalty. Then Potten End equalised but King went up a few gears and scored 3 decent goals to be 4-1 up, with 15 minutes left. Was the target possible? Well, Potten End had different ideas and scored 2 late goals and, although Kings won 4-3, it was the end of their Cup dream. Scorers for Kings were Joe Curran, Sam Flood, Marvis Edmund and Steve Seeby.

West Herts Premier Division
The Engineer Harpenden travelled to Kings Sports, where, to win the Premier title for the first time ever, they had to win. For the first 30 minutes, the game was even with Kings more than holding their own and indeed went a goal up when a very slick counter attack, saw the quick Joe Curran outpace the Engineer defence and slot home. Soon after Kings mounted another quick break and should have scored but the Engineer keeper saved well. The visitors then piled on the pressure, scoring twice before the break. Kings tired as Engineer mounted many attacks and finished comfortable 5-1 winners. Congratulations for deservedly clinching the Title. Scorers for Engineer were Colin Arnsby, Jack Cartwright, Michael Davies, David Keenleyside, OG.
