Table-topping Gadebridge stunned by lowly Sun Postal in Division One upset

The shock of the day in the West Herts League was inflicted on Division One leaders Gadebridge FC as they went down 2-1 at home to bottom club Sun Postal, despite a goal from ever-reliable Lewis Crowys.

In the same division, goals from Dave Flack and Neal Perrin were not enough as Hemel Rovers Reserves lost out 3-2 at Abbotts Langley.

Premier Division action, meanwhile, saw Kings Sports and Tring Athletic A battle it out in a 3-3 draw.

Dean Porter bagged a brace for Kings, with John Tyrell also finding the net, while Glen Sizer, Sam Handley and Patrick Rushton made sure Tring got a share of the spoils.

Elsewhere, Hemel Rovers were clearly second best against a very good Badger FC outfit, with a 3-0 scoreline showing the gap in class between the sides.

Hemel Rovers A managed a 4-2 victory at Croxley Comm as Matt Lennon, Matt Durrant, Aaron Boyer and an own goal did the job.

It was not so good for the Tring Athletic B team, however, as they were beaten 6-2 at home by table-topping Vicarage Celtic.

Gadebridge Reserves also missed out on the points after a 5-4 defeat at Langleybury CC, but Potten End came up trumps with a 4-3 win over Oxhey Reserves. Dale Jenkins scored twice for Potten End, with Rob Hopkins adding another and Ben Beer grabbing the winner
