Sunday league round-up: Doves flying high but FC Intervino go crashing out of the cup

BSFL side FC Intervino saw their Herts FA Sunday Intermediate Cup dreams come to an end as they were thrashed 5-1 by Goffs Athletic.

Meanwhile, there were plenty of goals in the second round of the BSFL Sunday Intermediate Cup as Landrovers and Hemel Tudors both won 4-1.

Landrovers zoomed past Robin Hood courtesy of strikes from Dave Wates (2), Charlie Richardson and Kieran Ingram, while Tudors had Chris Chance (2), Mike McQuaid and Nick Payne to thank for their victory over Sporting Oddfellows.

Doves United were on fire in the third round of the BSFL Sunday Senior Cup, thrashing Apsley Athletic 10-1 with goals from Stefan Owen-Edwards (4), Dan Weeks (2), Connor Deadman, Ryan Cole, Jordon Frederick and an o/g.

The other fixture in the competition saw FC Jubilee edge past Berko Tornadoes 4-3 with strikes from Kevin Price (2), Martin Walbancke and Luke Hughes.

In league action, BSFL Division One side Gossoms End romped to a 7-0 mauling of Drays courtesy of efforts from Josh Hobbs (3), George Liveing (2), Tom Kelly and Andy Lee, while Ned Ozkasim and Glenn Ball earned a 2-0 win for Potten End Sunday over Hemel Athletic.

BSFL Division Three produced a 5-0 triumph for Leather Bottle against The Midland thanks to Ben Butler (2), Mark Broome, Luke Bartlett and Lee Mills, while Berko Tornadoes A were 4-0 winners at Greenacres II through Charlie Rance, Dan Bushell, Jack Hollylee and Lloyd Capel.

ACF Saints won by the same scoreline at Hemel Harriers thanks to Dale Dresh (2), Bradley Turner and John baxter, while Victoria United shared a 2-2 draw with Ollys Athletic.
