Rovers thrash Sun Postal to keep shield dreams alive

Hemel Rovers cruised into the next round of the Watford Peace Shield with a 5-0 drubbing of Sun Postal.

A 4-0 half-time scoreline, courtesy of two goals apiece by Kev Price and Neal Perrin, showed the gulf between the sides.

A further goal in the second half from Scott Porter completed the rout.

Rovers’ third team, meanwhile, went down 4-2 at Harpenden Rovers.

Matt Durrant and Mick Moloney were both on target for Rovers.
