The Hemel players and management will head up to Bury tonight, before the Tudor faithful take to the road tomorrow to watch their heroes battle it out against their League Two opponents for a spot in the second round of the world’s most famous domestic cup competition.

Hemel go into the game full of confidence following an unbeaten run of seven matches in all competitions, and they will be looking to create an historic upset against a Bury side who currently occupy fourth place in the League Two table.

Tudors manager Dean Brennan is under no illusion as to the magnitude of the task his team faces, but he says they will be giving it their all to spring a surprise.

He said: “It’s going to be a very tough task but one we are really looking forward to. Bury have a lot of dynamic speed throughout their team, and they have plenty of quality, too.

“We know it will be tough, but our supporters will get right behind us and let’s try to cause an upset. It should be a great game.”

Hemel are priced as big as 15/1 to win tomorrow’s clash, but Tudors skipper Jordan Parkes says the team will have no fear.

“The confidence is high at the moment and, having beaten a team in the league above in the last round and with some good form in the league, we can’t wait for Saturday,” said Parkes.

“If we can get a result it would be unbelievable – even if we could get a draw and bring Bury back to Vauxhall Road that would be excellent.
