The match was an exiting contest throughout, with Everett taking an early lead as Danny Tearle made the breakthrough.

Play continued from end to end and Flaunden equalised in the 25th minute through Joe Welton.

The second half was as frenetic as the first, and Flaunden took the lead through Matt Bateman after 75 minutes.

That looked to be enough to secure the win, but a very late equaliser came from Everett’s Alex Gilbert to level things up at 2-2.

With extra-time looming, it was Flaunden who struck the killer blow as Max Farrelly kept his cool to slot home a 95th minute penalty following a trip on Bateman.
