Levy beaten by Bedford in nine-goal thriller

Leverstock Green came back from 3-0 down to level the scores but still ended up on the wrong side of a 5-4 scoreline in Tuesday night's six-pointer against fellow strugglers Bedford.

A poor first half display saw Leverstock go in at half-time three goals down, but strikes from Miley Cash, Curtis Donaldson and Ryan Laville brought the game back to 3-3 with plenty of time to go.

However it was Bedford who went back in front at 4-3, before Laville looked to have rescued a point with a stoppage time equaliser.

Further into stoppage time, though, Bedford scored again to win the match 5-4 and haul themselves off the foot of the SSML Premier Division table. Levy stay in 17th place.
