Boars, who had won the final in the two previous years, took on Doves who were in their debut final in this competition.

Doves striker Adiel Mannion put his side in the lead, but a shot from AFC Boars hit a Doves midfielder and levelled the scores.

Two more goals followed before half-time, one from Boars’ Curtis Donaldson and an equaliser from Doves striker Connor Deadman.

It was Doves who took the upper hand in the second half, scoring further goals from Ryan Laville and Stefan Owen-Edwards to secure the win.

Doves skipper Dan Weeks proudly collected the trophy from the Guest of Honour, Hemel Town chairman Dave Boggins.
