A third goal came after a shot by Connor Deadman squeezed between the keeper’s legs.

Midway through the second half, a long ball down the middle of the Abbots defence saw Cash race into the penalty box and unleash an unstoppable drive to make it 4-0.

Very quickly after that came Rovers’ best move of the match when Jamal Babb picked his way through the defence before passing to Deadman who rolled the ball into the path of Cash to sweep home for a 5-0 victory.

Elswehere, Rovers Reserves beat London Colney Blues 3-2 courtesy of goals by Ray Wood, Mike McQuade and Rhys Stonebank.

The third team drew 3-3 at Harpenden Rovers thanks to a double by Adam Durrant and a Sean Palmer penalty.
