Hat-trick hero Adiel leads Doves to eight-goal romp

Doves United are flying high in the BSFL Premier Division after Adiel Mannion hit a hat-trick in an 8-1 thumping of Flaunden.

Striker Ryan Charles was also on target with two goals, while Stefan Owen-Edwards, James Trill-Green and Courtney Massey completed the rout.

Elsewhere in the division, goals from Jay Austin (3), Lewis Cruwys (2), Curtis Donaldson and Sonny French secured a 7-3 victory for AFC Boars against Gossoms End, while Berko Athletic and Berko Tornadoes drew 1-1.

Greenacres II were the big winners in Division One as Scott Carrington helped himself to six goals in a 10-2 thrashing of Envirologistics.

Scott Webster also netted a hat-trick, with Ray Wood getting the other goal for Greenacres.

Leverstock Green Corinthians romped to a 5-0 win against Apsley Athletic courtesy of efforts from Ryan Fahy (2), Chris Armorgie, Ross Adams and Craig Sharples, while goals from Sam Meunier (2), Lewis Praide and Robbie Bates earned a 4-0 triumph for Woodhall Wanderers at Berko Tornadoes Reserves.

Jam United had Scott Grimes (2) and Jack Johnson to thank for their 3-1 victory at AC Grapes, and it was honours even in a 1-1 draw between The Bull Athletic and Potten End Sunday.

Division Two saw Clarkwood fight back from 3-0 down to secure a 3-3 draw with The Midland, while strikes from Ben Fisk, Martin sanders and Craig Osgerby did the damage for Hemel Athletic at Landrovers.

Four goals from hot-shot Jake Hoisier and one from Bradley Hedges earned a 5-3 win for FC Intervino over Adeyfield, and Kai Lewis struck twice for Jocketts against Palace. Ryan Sewell and Sam Richards got the other goals in a 4-2 win.

The other game in the division saw Ben Osborn, Simon Blundell and David Ellis find the net in The Queens Head’s 3-1 victory over Robin Hood.

There were plenty of goals in Division Three, including eight for Old Bull Athletic at Adeyfield Reserves. Matt Richardson (3), Sean Workman, Mark Biswell, Louis Bulled, Steve Clark and Ryan Walsham did the damage for the rampant Athletic side.

Goals from Matt O’Kelly (2), Chris Such (2), Luke Gilkes, Dom Bevan and Ben Roberts earned a 7-3 win for Sporting Blackbirds at A&A Flooring, while Hemel Tudors won 3-0 at Berko Athletic Reserves with efforts from Martin Jackson, Steve Rance and Lewis Wornham.

Boxmoor beat the Old Bell Gate 3-1 thanks to Tom Colqhuon, Krishan Alexander and Paul Bryson, while AFC Saints drew 2-2 with Berko Tornadoes A and Gade shared a 3-3 draw with Echoes. Brendon Hanson netted a brace for Gade.
