Five-star Tring Athletic are too good for Hertford Town
Tring Athletic romped to a 5-1 win over fourth placed Hertford Town in Tuesday night's SSML Premier Division clash at The Grass Roots Stadium.
Tring were superb in the first half and they were three goals ahead by the interval courtesy of strikes from Ryan Sturges, Lee Stobbs and Kieran Turner.
The visitors tried to rally in the second half and eventually pulled a goal back through Leigh Rose in the 72nd minute, but Lee Stobbs hit back three minutes later to deflate any hopes Hertford had of a comeback.
Jack Westlake added a fifth to round off a great a great night for Tring, as the three points pushed them up to sixth in the table.
