Dacorum are up for the U13 cup

The Dacorum Schools U13 football team have progressed to the quarter-finals of the ESFA National Cup after beating Waltham Forest 3-2.

After a solid first half display from the Dacorum side, two lapses in concentration allowed Waltham Forest back in to the game before Josh Ravenhall scored the winning goal.

Although it wasn’t their best performance of the season, the Dacorum boys showed moments of quality football and were the better team throughout.

A Dacorum U15 team won the national cup for the first time in 2011, and the current squad are looking to replicate that achievement.

More than 100 teams entered the competition at the start of the season and the draw for the last-eight will be held today (Monday).
