Comets off the mark with narrow victory on opening weekend
Comets Sports Club got the BSFL Premier Division season up and running with a narrow 2-1 win over Gossoms End.
Leo Mullett and Alfie Mullan got the goals for Comets, while Lee Mason was the Gossoms End marksman.
Elsewhere, it was high fives all round for AC Grapes as they started their Division One campaign with a 5-3 win at Envirologistics.

Tommy North, Alex Groom and Andy young were on target for Envirologistics.
The other game in the division saw Berko Tornadoes Reserves share a 2-2 draw with Jam United.
