Walking football is a version of the beautiful game where any player caught running concedes a free-kick to the opposition; it is a great way to keep fit, learn skills and have fun. It’s also perfect if players are recovering from injury, retired from the game or just want to have a go at football.

Raiders have started their sessions on Monday evenings at Ashlyns Sports Centre, and they are open to anyone over the age of 14 years.

The sessions will be run by Watford FC Community Coaches; the sessions will include basic fitness training and warm-ups, skills tuition and a short game.

Your first session is free and thereafter each session will be £4 – no booking is required, just turn up and play. For further details, please contact Carol Preedy at [email protected]
