Bedmond Ladies take the points against old rivals Kings Langley

Bedmond Ladies recorded a hard-fought 4-2 victory over Kings Langley Ladies on Sunday.

Bedmond welcomed debuts from keeper Sasha Tucker and striker Molly Peters for what was always going to be a difficult and physical game against their old rivals.

Langley went ahead in the eighth minute, but Bedmond stepped up a gear and took command of the game when a well taken goal from Molly Peters levelled the scores.

Two further goals from captain Abbie Harrison and Sarah Gunn meant the team went in at the break 3-1 up.

An injury to Dawn Kingsley during the first half meant a change of positions and tactics, but Bedmond continued to push and Peters claimed her second of the match.

Langley reduced the deficit with 15 minutes to play, but Bedmond stayed strong to claim the win.
