The 12-year-old Kings Langley School pupil was in fine form at his latest meet, representing Dacorum Diving Club at the National Age Groups Diving Championships in Sheffield.

Harrison won silver on the 1m springboard, bronze on the 3m springboard and came 12th in the platform event, as he went head-to-head with 21 other divers – mainly from the top eight high performance diving centres across England.

Harrison’s mum Sally said: “We are exceptionally proud of him and his achievements. He has worked extremely hard with his coach Roger Page and given up most of his free time to get where he is.”

Roger added: “Dacorum Diving Club took a team of six to National Age Groups this year, which is the highest level of competition for English junior divers.

“It is a significant achievement in diving just to qualify to compete at this level and so Harry’s two medal-winning performances are especially impressive and very well deserved. They are the result of many hours of dedicated training.”
