VE Day bash to raise vital funds for Leverstock Green clubhouse

The fun-filled event – which takes place on Friday, May 8 from 2pm – will include afternoon tea, a raffle, and a prize for the most authentic, original or unique 1945-style outfit.

No entrance fee or ration book will be required, but donations will be much appreciated as funds raised go towards new furniture for the LGCC clubhouse.

Event organiser Gloria Odell is especially keen to invite local residents who attended the original 1945 celebrations, or served in WW2, to go along to the bash and share in the festivities.
