Chad Fortune was the star of the show again for Berkhamsted. With Berko floundering at 68-5, Fortune came in and restored calm and momentum to the innings by scoring 55, helping his side to post a respectable 185 all out on a bowler friendly pitch.

Fortune then turned destroyer with the ball, taking an incredible 7-20, with Doug Foster also taking 2-13 as Berko dismissed Chorleywood for just 80 to win the league and promotion to Division 3A

Berkhamsted III won their last game of the season to continue their strong set of results for the second half of the campaign as they finished a creditable fourth in the league.

Berko dismissed Northwood Town III for just 125, with all of the bowlers chipping in with a couple of wickets apiece.

In reply, despite a mid-order wobble, Berkhamsted easily chased the score down to win by five wickets, with Ethan Mackie scoring 49 n/o and Dan Brierley adding 27 n/o.
