In the opening round, Arthur scored a quick takedown but Akhtar scrambled to his feet and proceeded to score with a nice takedown of his own.

After a few moments on the ground, Arthur secured his second takedown, before failing in an attempt at a guillotine in the closing moments of the round.

After some knees were exchanged against the fence in the opening seconds of round two, the fight again hit the deck with Arthur working his way to Akhtar’s back – looking to secure a rear-naked-choke.

The fight then returned to its feet and Malmo native Akhtar sent Arthur to the canvas with a nice hook.

However, the referee stood the fighters up and deducted a point from Akhtar for persistently elbowing Arthur to the back of the head while on the ground.

In the final round, the Englishman scored an early takedown and landed some punches while attempting to secure a choke.
