Club is boxing clever in tribute to Henry
Well-known Henry Nash died in October 2012 when he took his own life aged just 24.
For the second year running Tring Martial Arts Academy, based in Akeman Street, hosted the Henry Nash Memorial Kumite, which consists of 100 rounds of light contact touch sparring.

Hide AdChief instructor Chris Allen said: “It was a devastating shock to us all when Henry passed away. We choose to pay our respects to him in the only way that seems fitting, to practice our martial arts in his name and memory.
“We have raised £225 for the charity, Habitat for Humanity, and I was so pleased and humbled that so many of Henry’s family and friends came along to watch and lend their support.
“We miss Henry greatly but I am sure he would be proud of what we are trying to achieve.”
The memorial endurance event, held on Saturday, is based on control, respect and discipline along with a great sense of fun.

Hide AdHenry was an instructor at Tring Martial Arts, an executive at Grass Roots, a casual worker at FW Metcalfe and a volunteer at The Court Theatre, in Tring .
Chris said: “Henry was a much beloved instructor and pillar of the community, with involvement in many types of activities in the town.”
At the time of his death he was planning to take part in a charitable mission to build homes in Kyrgyzstan.
