On Wednesday, while shy of any ladies due to other fixtures in the Hemel team, there was a friendly mixed four-rink away game at Dacorum rivals Kitcheners BC.

A closely played contest resulted in a 78-62 win for Hemel, mostly gained in the closing stages. Top rink went to Alan Thornley, Brian Taylor, Don Connors and Roger Wakefield.
