The men’s first and third teams caught up with pre-Christmas games that had been postponed and took advantage with significant wins, scoring plenty of goals in the process.

The first XI knocked four past Vauxhall without conceding, while the thirds put nine past the Bedford Vets, with young Will Goodwyn adding another four goals to his impressive haul this season.

The men’s seconds had a thrilling friendly match against Potters Bar 1st XI as they were narrowly beaten 6-4 by the team in a higher division.

The men’s fourth and fifth teams played an inter-club friendly, with a number of new youth players joining in.

The ladies second team, meanwhile, remain the club’s only unbeaten team following a hard-fought 1-0 win at Shefford and Sandy – solidifying their position at the top of their league.

Elsewhere, the ladies’ thirds beat Leighton Buzzard 4-3 to move up to fifth in their league.

Yet again, Ruby Lloyd (pictured) was on hand to score a brace of goals and win the player of the match award.

The ladies’ first team, however, continue to struggle with a 4-1 defeat against West Herts.
