Berkhamsted sides keep up the promotion push with important victories
The result of the day saw the men’s first team beat promotion rivals Shefford & Sandy 5-4 in a top encounter that leaves them four points ahead of their opponents but having played a game more.
Elsewhere, both the men’s second and third teams also won to maintain their respective promotion challenges.

The men’s thirds had a real six-pointer against promotion rivals Harpenden, and they came away with a fully deserved 3-2 win.
Harpenden showed a huge amount of resilience but the Berkhamsted side were professional in the way they closed out the game.
Jeremy Steed picked up the goalcoring mantle, with usual centre forwards Will Goodwyn and Mark Robinson away on holiday.

The men’s fourth XI had the toughest game, going down 3-1 against league leaders Hertford, while the fifths were unlucky to not get something out of their game as they lost 3-2 to Stevenage.
The ladies’ firsts took on West Herts and, after a resurgent few weeks, it was disappointing that they lost the game 3-0.
