This week she won the U20 competition at one of the best pole vaulting competitions in UK – Vault Cardiff – where more than 100 athletes took part.

Jess won the event with a new PB of 3.96m, which is not only a club record (for Windsor, Slough, Eton & Hounslow) but it’s also well above the qualifying height for the European Youth Championships later on this year.

Jess was awarded a trophy for the best female performance and has been also been chosen to represent England in the international competition in Wales in two weeks.
