The sentences for all three offences are to be served concurrently.

The cannabis factory was discovered at a property in Aylesbury Road, Tring, on March 11, 2014, by officers from Herts Police.

There they found approximately 400 cannabis plants, with estimated yields of between £33,000 and £132,000.

She was convicted of producing the drugs both there and at a site in Chesham.

Detective Constable Adam Bridges welcomed the sentence and stressed the role that cannabis production can play in other forms of crime.

He said: “Pham claimed to have no knowledge of the cannabis factories however the jury unanimously found her guilty.

“The number of plants found in Tring was significant and I am pleased the court recognised the seriousness of the offending and this woman will be serving a number of years in prison,

“Cannabis is not an ‘innocent’ drug – it can destroy lives.

“It also plays a major role in serious and organised crime resulting in unnecessary suffering for innocent people.”
