Woman nicked for drink driving and being drunk while in charge of three-year-old

A Berkhamsted woman has been charged with drink driving and being drunk while in charge of a child after a PCSO found a car that had crashed into a sign.

The vehicle was discovered in the rural Horleigh Green Road, near the village of Five Ashes in East Sussex, at about 7.20pm on Thursday.

The car was being driven north along the street by a woman who had a three-year-old passenger when the crash happened.

Gina Milsom, 37, of Londrina Terrace, Berkhamsted, was charged with drink-driving and being drunk in charge of a child.

She has been released on bail to appear at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, January 6.

People in Sussex are being encouraged to text police officers to alert them of people they suspect of drink or drug driving.
