The organisers expect the usual large number of entries, with displays of tulips, daffodils, primulas and other spring flowers, and there are many other classes for cookery, flower arrang-ing, eggs, arts and crafts.

The themes for the photography classes are Water and Gone With the Wind.

Children can enter a spring flower arrangement in a 10cm flowerpot and there’s a Hairy Scary Spider category for ages five and under.

Entry forms must be submitted by 7pm on March 29.

Doors open to the public at 2.30pm, with the usual raffle, trading table, teas and auction of entries.
