Pictures reveal extent of flooding across Hemel Hempstead in wake of Storm Alex

Hemel Hempstead was hit by flash floods at the weekend as Storm Alex battered the county. Many people woke up to floods on Saturday morning, and some of our readers sent in pictures of flooding in Old Town, Kingcup Avenue, Green Lane and Gadebridge Park. Dacorum Police attended a number of incidents yesterday morning (Sunday) along with Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue as a result of the heavy rain and standing water. Scroll through the gallery.
