The London Blind Ramblers Group had a walk organised by the Box Moor trust for the third year.
This time the tour started from Kings Langley and crossed the undulating fields to Chipperfield Common.
Nearly 20 walkers took part with volunteers as sighted guides for the walkers and everyone enjoyed a sunny day that bought the butterflies out in their hundreds.
The group met Dacorum’s tree and woodland manager at the Common who explained the history of the site, how it is cared for and some of its special features including the precious centuries old sweet chestnut trees.
