‘Vote for Sunnyside so our workers can chill out’
The Dacorum-based charity providing rural work experience for adults with learning difficulties wants to provide a chill-out place where its workers can go if they feel stressed, anxious or violent.
Sunnyside workers create a range of fresh local produce from their sites in Northchurch and the Hemel Food Garden off Two Waters Road.

Hide AdCharity chief executive Keely Charlick said: “The Lloyds Bank Community Fund will make a huge difference to Sunnyside Rural Trust by helping to fund a summer house and the creation of a quiet area which trainees can use as a ‘chill-out’ space.
“Being able to be away from the main group for short times would enable people to come to us who have previously been too high-risk because we have not been able to offer this.
“Please vote for us to benefit from the Community Fund award.”
The local good cause that receives most votes in each community will receive an award of £3,000, with the other groups receiving £2,000, £1,000 or £500 depending on the votes received.
