The Friends of Great Gaddesden Church and School are hosting a traditional village Summer Fayre on Saturday, June 20.
The Fayre takes place from noon to 4pm at St John the Baptist Church, Church Meadow, Great Gaddesden.
Organised by the Friends Associations of St John the Baptist Church and Great Gaddesden School, the fundraiser will include maypole dancing, a ‘Cresta Run’ activity, stalls and refreshments.
Teddies will have the opportunity to fly from the top of the church tower and four-legged friends are welcome, with a special event just for dogs.
Church spokesman Trevor Beale said: “Our 12th-century church requires constant upkeep and renovation and so we hope to encourage people to come and discover the beauty of the church for themselves, whilst also helping to fundraise for its future.”
Admission £2 for adults, children free.
