A formation flight with the Vulcan and Blades took place over Northamptonshire yesterday.
The special event was held at Sywell Aerodrome on Tuesday in conjunction with The Blades Aerobatic Display Team and the Vulcan XH558 to the Sky Trust.
The historical Vulcan also flew on its own for part of the day and was seen by many across the county.
A spokesman for The Blades said: “It is the last time that the Vulcan will ever fly over Northamptonshire and it flew its last ever display here at Sywell this afternoon.”
The Vulcan completed its farewell tour of the country at the weekend. Its last ever flight before being grounded will take place later this month.
