Paramedics were called to Two Waters Road, near B&Q and close to the Honda garage, at 2.01pm to reports of a collision between a silver Hyundai Santa and two pedestrians.

A rapid response vehicle and two ambulance crews attended, along with police and fire crews.

One patient was treated for a suspected broken leg before both were taken to Watford General Hospital for further treatment.

A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said the pair’s injuries were ‘not thought to be critical or life-threatening’.
