Tring’s finest photographers snap up competition prizes
Winners of the public competition include ‘Cobblers’ by Beverley Drury in the Tring Daily Life category, while Roger Agnew topped the vote in both the Modern Life, Tring 700 and Wildlife sections.
The best Historic Tring image was ‘Gamnel Flour Mill’ by Ian Petticrew, while Jean Petticrew won the prize in Best With A Mobile Phone for her shot ‘Grand Union Canal At Marsworth’.

Hide AdDaniel Burstow won the under-14s category, and Rachel Burstow won both the 14-18s category and was overall winner of the public competition.
There was also a separate competition for members of the town’s camera club.
Sarah Murrell, pictured above, won first prize in the Tring Street Scene and Tring Wildlife sections, with her pictures ‘Olive Limes’ and ‘Flying Heron’.
Steve Kitchener was crowned for his shot ‘Women’s Tour’ in Tring Community & Events.
And Peter Cox’s image ‘Summer House At Tring Park’ took the honours for the Tring Landscape section.
The overall winner of the camera club’s competition was ‘Shroud Of Mist’ by Chris Gregory.
