Meet Eden Cole, the Tring School Of Performing Arts student who has just launched her own brand of dancewear and accessories.

She told the Gazette how she has wanted to be a dancer for as long as she can remember.

Eden, who also lives in Tring, said: “I enjoy singing and acting, but it’s dance I enjoy the most. I enjoy watching other dancers and I enjoy doing it.

“I think I was two years old when I first watched dancers and thought ‘I want to be like them’. Now I get to do it at school and I enjoy it every day.

“I had to have open heart surgery twice when I was young – once when I was one month old and then when I was six months old. Getting past that and doing what I’m doing makes me really proud of myself and makes me more determined.”

Eden’s entrepreneurial and designing skills have come to the fore now with the launch of Eden Dancewear, with many of the items co-designed by Eden and all of them worn by her.

She said: “It’s all nice and comfortable, I wouldn’t wear them if they weren’t.

“But my ambition is still in dance. When I’m older I’d like to dance in the West End.

“I’ve been to a few shows already, and my favourite one is Wicked.”
