Town looking forward to its fortnight of fun

Spring comes to Tring with the launch of the Tring Together Spring Fayre on Saturday, April 23.

From 10am to 2pm in Church Square, there will be charity stalls, a tombola, the launch of the Tring in Spring photographic competition, a free prize draw for a chance to win a £25 voucher for the Hemel Hempstead Snow Centre and a petting zoo, with refreshments provided by St Peter & St Paul’s Church.

There will also be a children’s treasure trail, with maps available from the Tring Together stall and the Save the Children shop.

From 9am to 1pm, TringMotion will be offering electric bike test rides for over-14s on Market Place. The first of a series of Nordic Walking taster sessions sets off from Tring Museum at noon.

Spring Fayre fun continues on April 24, with the Tring Heritage Trail guided walk.

Dog trainer Hanne Grice will be available from 10.30am to 1.30pm at Nora Grace Hall to discuss the importance of playing games with your dog.

And there’s lots more during the following fortnight, including Jazzercise Lite sessions, a free self defence class with Tring Martial Arts, Tring Farmers Market, Tring Together’s Biggest Brain Quiz, the Tring Job Show, and the FOTCH Family Fun Day and a spring wildlife walk in Tring Park on May 7.

The final event is the Tring Tornadoes Matt Lovell Memorial Trophy Match on May 8.
