An exhibition opens this week to celebrate 700 years since Tring was granted its market town charter by King Edward II.
Tring and District Camera Club have organised the Tring 700 Photo Exhibition which launches at the Natural History Museum in the town on Friday, October 9.
The exhibition will feature images selected from the wealth of entries to this year’s photographic competition held over the summer, alongside archival snapshots of the town and area.
The 200 images on display will showcase community events, street scenes, landscape and wildlife and include:
Shortlisted entries from the Tring Charter 700 Photo Competition
A selection of the images from the newly created archive, recording Tring life in 2015
A Then & Now section that compares historic images with the same view today
Tring 700 Photo Exhibition will run until November 21 at The Natural History Museum which is at The Walter Rothschild Building, Akeman Street, Tring, HP23 6AP.
Open Monday to Saturday, 10am 0 5pm, Sunday 2pm-5pm. Admission is free.
There is lift access throughout the public areas of the museum.
