Three homes burgled on same night in Tring

Crooks forced windows and doors to get into homes in Windmill Way, Chiltern Way and Grove Park between 7pm and 11.45pm on Wednesday, November 2.

During the Chiltern Way burglary the alarm spooked the thief who fled the scene empty handed.

Police have released details of the crimes as part of an appeal. Anyone with information is asked to contact police via the non-emergency number 101. In an emergency always call 999.

Householders are being urged to ensure ground floor windows and doors are locked and doors are double locked at night and when the property is unoccupied.

Car and house keys should ben kept out of sight and in a safe place and gardens should be secured by locking any gates.

Keep tools safely locked up so that they cannot be used to break in and consider installing dusk to dawn lighting at home.
