Suspended jail sentence, community service and four-year driving ban for man who stole golf buggy

Simon Christopher Higgs, 25, Shepherd Close, Abbots Langley. Drove a car that was in such poor condition that it was dangerous, with no MOT and not displaying a road tax disc in Nascot Wood Road, Watford on February 6. Three points on licence, fined a total of £800, £85 costs and £40 victim surcharge.

Mark Underwood, 42, Broadfield Road, Hemel Hempstead. Driving without an MOT on the M1 between J6A and J6 at Watford on August 18, 2012. Fined £200 and £85 costs.

Sonia Emma Louise Carty, 44, Rosehill Gardens, Abbots Langley. Drunk and disorderly in public in High Street, Watford, on July 26. Fined £75, £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Skip Walker Grant, 34, Widford Terrace, Hemel Hempstead. Assaulted a man by beating and used threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour in Hemel Hempstead on July 22. Fined £700, £100 compensation, £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Dominic O’Neil, 73, no fixed abode. Drunk and disorderly and used threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour towards a policeman and PCSO in Hemel Hempstead on August 16, while on conditional discharge for a previous offence. Fined a total of £275, £20 victim surcharge and £55 costs.

Jonathan Gregory Sears, 23, Holly Drive, Berkhamsted. Stole a golf buggy and drove while banned and without valid insurance, while over the limit with 66 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 mililitres of breath (limit is 35), and causing an accident resulting in damage to fences and a dog waste bin in Kings Road, Berkhamsted, on August 17. Jailed for 16 weeks suspended for two years, banned from driving for four years, community service order including 100 hours of unpaid work and ordered to pay £80 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

David Robert Ferguson, 31, Honeycross Road, Hemel Hempstead. Failed to stop at a red light on the M1 slip road in Hemel Hempstead on November 29. Three points on licence, fined £200, £20 victim surcharge and £250 costs.

Jonathan Arthur Elgy, 24, Stag Lane, Berkhamsted. Possession of one wrap of cocaine in Watford on July 30, while under conditional discharge for a previous offence. Fined £465, £46 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Christopher James Ward, 53, Jennings Way, Hemel Hempstead. Drink driving with 92 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 mililitres of breath (limit is 35) in Hemel Hempstead on August 1. Banned from driving for 23 months, to be reduced by 23 weeks with a rehabilitation course. and fined £450, £45 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Barry Christopher Curtis, 42, High Road, Leavesden. Owner of a dog which was dangerously out of control in Leavesden on March 11 and 14. Dog to be destroyed, owner banned from owning dogs for life and fined a total of £330, £285 compensation, £20 victim surcharge and £1,300 costs.

Perry Cowig, 52, Marlin Square, Abbots Langley. Driving without proper control of the vehicle and while using a mobile phone on the M25 in Hertfordshire on February 13. Three points on licence and fined £80, £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Mary Riley, 45, Broomfield Rise, Abbots Langley. Driving without valid licence or insurance in Watford on February 22. Eight points on licence and fined a total of £800, £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Matthew Evans, 29, Potten End, Hemel Hempstead. Failed to attend an unpaid work placement on July 13 and 27. Fined £50 and £85 costs.

Benjamin Mark Armstrong, 32, Dowling Court, Hemel Hempstead. Speeding at 36mph in a 30mph zone in Bourne End on February 3. Three points on licence and fined £200, £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Justin Anthony Komodromou, 42, Roman Way, Markyate. Driving without valid insurance in Markayet on January 23. Banned from driving for nine months and fined £600, £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Lee Davies, 26, Bayford Close, Hemel Hempstead. Destroyed an iPhone 5 belonging to a woman in Hemel Hempstead on August 1-. Fined £80, £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Richard Brian Kappes, 45, Eastwick Row, Hemel Hempstead. Assaulted a woman by beating in Hemel Hempstead on June 27. Community order including 27 days domestic abuse programme and 18 month supervision requirement, fined £165, £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Harry Peter Waters, 21, Mill Close, Hemel Hempstead. Harrassing a woman in Hatfield by making numerous phone calls and text messages between June 8 and 28. Simon William Bunce, 38, Waterhouse Street, Hemel Hempstead. Possession of 37g diamorphine, used threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour to another and destroyed police limb restraints to the value of £8 belonging to British Transport Police in Watford on March 3. 12 months supervision requirement and ordered to pay £60 victim surcharge.

Stole a Samsung Galaxy S4 mobile phone and charger from another man and committed fraud by sell the item in Hemel Hempstead on june 26, while on community order for a previous offence.
