Can you help save a life this summer?
Herts Air Ambulance has launched its very first Save A Life This Summer Tour, with the aim of raising £2,700 – the cost of one life-saving mission.
Hemel Hempstead-based Epson UK Ltd is the tour’s main sponsor.
The firm is a huge supporter of the air ambulance, having donated over £15,000 since it began raising money for the charity om 3013.
Epson UK PR manager Leonie Toal said: “I am delighted that we are able to support this fantastic tour with Herts Air Ambulance.
“As a major employer in Hertfordshire, it’s important that we are able to help the work carried out by charities in our local area. We’re hoping that we can help in some way towards raising important funds for the lifesaving work that Herts Air Ambulance carries out 365 days a year.”
Since kicking off in St Albans Market in June, the Tour has seen the Herts Air Ambulance volunteer and fundraising team out and about across the county, visiting Royston Market, Buntsfest in Buntingford, North Weald and Bishop’s Stortford Market.
On Wednesday, August 12, and on Saturday, August 29, it is coming to Wyvale Garden Centre, in Hemel Hempstead.
Everyone who visits the Herts Air Ambulance stand during the tour can enter into a free prize draw to win an iPad Mini, by completing a short questionnaire.
Herts Air Ambulance fundraising manager Maria Alexander said: “We’ve had great fun so far travelling the county meeting local people and spreading the word about the charity. Plus we have some great giveaways including balloons, flags and pens.
“Look out for our eye-catching branded trailer.”
