Summer workshops and activities on offer for kids at Seaside by Riverside

The Seaside by Riverside opened on July 23, with a visit from special guests, Chase and Marshall, of PAW Patrol.

Visitors of all ages can enjoy the Seaside until September 3, with the beach open daily from 10am to 4pm for fun in the sandpit, playhouses, giant games and free activity sheets.

There’s a different theme at the Seaside every week, with a free arts and crafts workshop every Monday from 11am to 4pm; story sessions with Waterstones every Wednesday at noon; free face painting every Thursday, plus a treasure hunt across the centre for the chance to win £20 to spend in at Riverside.

In addition, a giant deckchair has arrived at Riverside for a #DeckchairSelfie competition.

For the chance to win £100 to spend at Riverside, visitors can hop on to the deckchair, snap their picture and upload to Riverside’s Facebook, Twitter or Instagram page with the hashtag #DeckchairSelfie.
