Get ready for some summer fun with a medieval theme!

This year’s Tring Together Summer Carnival will run from June 25 to 28.

The fun kicks off on June 25 with live music in the Tring Brewery Marquee on Pound Meadow, London Road.

Muzicmeet presents Mark Morriss (of the Bluetones), in aid of a local charity, Hector’s House. Support acts are Sophie Ray, Harry Phillips and Pete & Dunk.

Saturday, June 27 is Carnival Day, with medieval dress encouraged but not compulsory. At 11.30am there will be the High Street Parade to Pound Meadow where the fun really begins in earnest. A traditional steam engine and selection of vintage cars will accompany the parade.

A full day of events is planned, and there are plenty of stalls as well as Tring Farmers Market, food stalls and of course Tring Brewery Bar. The highlight this year is the Medieval Village with combat and dancing displays.

There is a £2 per adult entry fee, children are free.

Saturday also sees more live music at the Tring Brewery Marquee with Celtic fusion party band Peatbog Faeries. Tickets are £17.50, from Beechwood, Tring Brewery, Haresfoot Brewery in Berkhamsted and Doors open 7pm, music starts 9pm.

And on Saturday, June 28 there will be a summer afternoon of Blues at the marquee, with Storm Warning, Derik Timms Moondogs and Son Maxwell’s Shufflepack. In aid of Rennie Grove Hospice Care, The Hospice of St Francis and Chilterns MS.

Tring Brewery has a mini beer festival going on and food can be bought from Mela, Aston Clinton’s contemporary Indian cuisine.
