This year for the first time, the annual Access Self Storage Easter Egg Appeal is open to local residents.

Every chocolate egg collected in Hemel Hempstead will go to Rennie Grove Hospice.

Steven Church, manager of Access Self Storage Hemel, said: “If you’re buying Easter eggs for friends and family, please think of those at Rennie Grove Hospice, who may not all get visitors over Easter, let alone a chocolate egg.

“Any chocolates, biscuits or cakes you kindly drop off will be stored safely here and taken straight to the hospice.

“Easter is even earlier this year, but if we collect as many chocolate eggs as possible over the next few weeks, we’ll make it a happier occasion for many who are in need of extra magic and cheer.”

Eggs can be taken in to the Hemel store, in Riversend Road, any time before March 24.
