Snapchat filter puts Hemel '˜on the map'
Simba Kuguwe, 21, works as a multimedia designer and and his new Snapchat filter, which allows users to take photos with a Hemel graphic at the bottom, is generating plenty of interest.
So much so, that Simba is already looking at creating further filters for Grove Hill and Adeyfield.

But Simba’s filter, which can be searched for in the centre of Hemel, seems to be hitting all the right notes too.
He said: “There wasn’t one for Hemel and it’s quite a main place in the area so I thought it would be a way of putting it on the map.
“It only took about five or six hours to make.
“People seem to like it and I just want to continue that, and get it to grow.

Simba, who studied media at Adeyfield, is sketching some ‘street-feel’ designs for Grove Hill and a royal filter for Adeyfield. He has set up his own business, Simba Designs, which he hopes to develop as popularity grows.
