Snap up a summer bargain at pre-loved furniture showroom

The event, at the Northbridge Road shop will see one-off upcycled pieces of furniture plus soft furnishings in an array of floral designs being sold to raise funds to support the work of the Hospice of St Francis.

Store manager Francesca Alden said: “We have many beautiful items set aside for our Design Weekend, embracing this summer’s floral trends.

“The showroom will be filled with ocean hues, jewel tones and moody blues.

“Our talented volunteers have also been creating beautiful handmade items like cushions and lampshades with designer fabric.”

A Taste of Summer runs from 10am to 5pm on Saturday, May 7, and from 10.30am to 4.30pm on Sunday, May 8.

The shop is also running a summer programme of paint workshops using Autentico chalk paint. The three-hour workshops cost £75, which includes all materials, refreshments and a completed small table to take home. For more information call 01442 874356 or email [email protected]
