Safety visits to over 150 homes
More than 150 homes received visits from police, fire and council officers last month, as part of a scheme aimed at spreading safety advice and understanding the issues affecting residents.
The Safer Streets visit,in Chaulden on June 19, included home safety checks and the installation of smoke alarms, referrals for other local services such as community meals, and the chance to sign up to Neighbourhood Watch.
